Taking risks is a key component for success in our careers. For many women\, putting ourselves out there and taking chances is hard. Yet\, without taking risks\, we may miss opportunities to grow in our abilities or move into the position or career we want. \n\n\n\nDuring this session\, we'll hear first-hand from Jenny Hosfeld and Jill Rock\, two women who have taken risks and in the process\, moved forward in attaining their goals. From their stories\, you will gain inspiration and insights in how to identify opportunities\, overcome imposter syndrome\, and make your move.\n\n \n\nJill Rock is currently a Principal at Smith Schaefer & Associates in Rochester\, focusing on tax planning and consulting\, general business consulting and succession issues. She has been working in the public accounting sector for over 15 years. Jill has a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Minnesota - Duluth and a Juris Doctor Degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. In her daily work\, Jill looks at the needs of her clients and works to develop a business solution that minimizes their tax burden and helps aid in their long term objectives. She currently serves as the treasurer for the Boys and Girls Club of Rochester and is a member of Sertoma 700.\n\n \n\nJenny Hosfeld is the SVP of Community Banking at Think Mutual Bank. Jenny has more than 20 years of banking experience and has been with Think since 2006. Jenny is responsible for overseeing the bank's consumer and small business banking areas in both Rochester and the Twin Cities. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
