DESCRIPTION:Develop relationships within this supportive group of women leaders who meet the third Friday morning of each month. The Women's Round Table provides a small\, safe environment for women to: practice and refine skills\, discuss challenges specific to women in positions of leadership\, learn together and empower each other to take risks. Join us for a fun\, engaging program driven by the needs of the group.\n\n\n\nThis month's round table speaker will be Sheila Kiscaden.\n\n\n\nBio: Sheila Kiscaden is an Olmsted County Commissioner (2012- present) who previously represented Rochester/Olmsted County in the Minnesota State Senate (1992-2006). Sheila has a long history of working on behalf of the community on its issues and challenges.  While in the Senate\, she became known for her focus and leadership on health and human services policy issues\, which continues to be a theme of her community and public service work.  \n\n \n\nSheila is currently serving at the 2018 Olmsted County Board Chair\, a duty which is rotated among the members.  The County Board serves at the Board of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority\, which recently completed a local housing scan.  In addition\, Sheila is a member of the Leadership Team for the Coalition for Rochester Area Housing and is serving on the Governor's Task Force on Affordable Housing.\n\n\n\n\n\n**Please note that all presentations and content delivered within or in the promotion of Round Table meetings are entirely Round Table Chair and member/attendee driven. Any messaging and content conveyed within and for these meetings is in no way representative of the Chamber's views\, ideals\, or positioning.**\n\n\n\nMembers of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce are welcome to attend. In addition\, prospective members are invited to attend twice before setting up a meeting to discuss whether Chamber membership is right for their organization.
