DESCRIPTION:Squeeze The Day! Help us empower today's youth to be tomorrow's entrepreneurs!\n\n\n\nLemonade Day is a free\, fun\, experiential learning program that teaches local youth entrepreneurial and life skills as they learn how to start their very own business. Learn how to develop a business and experience all the aspects of developing and maintaining a business such as creating a product\, establishing a budget\, designing a marketing plan\, and so much more!\n\n\n\nThe foremost objective of Lemonade Day is to empower youth to take ownership of their lives and become productive members of society the business leaders\, social advocates\, volunteers\, and forward thinking citizens of tomorrow.\n\n\n\nEach child that registers receives access to the Lemonade Day curriculum that teaches them lessons like creating budgets\, setting profit-making goals\, serving customers\, repaying investors\, and giving back to the community. Along the way\, they acquire skills in goal-setting\, problem solving\, and gain self-esteem critical for future success. They keep all the money they make and are encouraged to spend some\, save some and share some.\n\n\n\nREGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! \n\n\n\nOnce you register you will get an email explaining the next steps. Workbooks and Backpacks have been ordered and will soon arrive at the Chamber office. Once we get them in we will send you an email explaining how to pick them up\, either at our office or by attending one of our upcoming events. \n\n \n\nBe on the lookout for our upcoming Lemonade Day events:\n\n Backpack pick up\n \n Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce Office - M-F - 8am-5pm\n Think Bank - Green Meadow and East River Branches - M-F- 8am-5pm\n Chipshots - May 15 from 4pm - 6pm\n Rochester Athletic Club - East side of parking lot - June 1 - 5pm - 6:30pm\n \n \n Wear your Lemonade Day Shirt day! - May 15 and June 9\n Lemonade Day - June 10\, 2023\n\n Going on vacation or away from Rochester during Lemonade Day on June 10? No worries\, Lemonade Day is about the journey and the process! We encourage you to make your lemonade stand work within your family's plans. \n\n\n\nJoin our Lemonade Day Facebook page for updates and information. We will also be sending out emails as we get closer to June with tips and tricks\, lemonade recipe ideas and more! Sweet Spots are created through business partnerships throughout the city to help youth achieve sweet success! \n\n \n\nSign up as a location here and your business name will be added to a list that is shared with the youth and their mentors. Any interested youth will then reach out to you to request permission to setup their stand on June 10th.
