DESCRIPTION:ABOUT LEMONADE DAY\n\nLemonade Day is a free\, fun\, experiential learning program that teaches local youth entrepreneurial and life skills as they learn how to start their very own business.\n\n\n\nLearn how to develop a business and experience all the aspects of developing and maintaining a business such as creating a product\, establishing a budget\, designing a marketing plan\, and so much more! \n\n\n\nThe foremost objective of Lemonade Day is to empower youth to take ownership of their lives and become productive members of society   the business leaders\, social advocates\, volunteers\, and forward thinking citizens of tomorrow.\n\n\n\nREGISTRATION INFORMATION\n\nEach child that registers receives access to the Lemonade Day curriculum\, either via workbook or My Lemonade Day app\, that teaches them lessons like creating budgets\, setting profit-making goals\, serving customers\, repaying investors\, and giving back to the community.\n\n\n\nAlong the way\, they acquire skills in goal-setting\, problem solving\, and gain self-esteem critical for future success. They keep all the money they make and are encouraged to spend some\, save some and share some.\n\n\n\nOnce you register you will get an email explaining the next steps! Your supplies may be picked up at the Rochester Chamber Office starting May 1! Additional pick up locations will be announced soon! Check back for more details. \n\n\n\nEVENT DETAILS\n\nThis year's Lemonade Day will be on Saturday\, June 6\, 2026! \n\n\n\nGoing on vacation or away from Rochester on June 6? No worries\, Lemonade Day is about the journey and the process! Sending in this document does not guarantee you have a youth with a stand outside of your business. It is the responsibility of the youth to reach out for permission to set up their stand outside of your business.\n\n\n\nSign up to be a Sweet Spot here\n\n \n \n\n\n\nBy attending a Chamber event\, you consent to the Chamber Event Policy.
