DESCRIPTION:The Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce will host a information session with the City of Rochester on the upcoming zoning update on Monday\, August 21st. The City of Rochester project team is interested in the thoughts of businesses in and around areas of proposed zoning changes.\n\n \n\nThe City of Rochester Community Development Department is kicking off a project to update the City's zoning map. This project will specifically address the current zoning districts that do not conform to land use and will do so by updating the zoning map. The R2x zoning area in the Southwest Rochester and the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) boundary is being examined through this project as well.
