DESCRIPTION:The Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce will host an information session with the Minnesota Department of Transportation on the upcoming Highway 14/Broadway Avenue Intersection project with construction slated to begin in the summer of 2027.\n\n\n\nThe Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) is planning safety and accessibility improvements to the Hwy 14 and Broadway Ave. intersection in Rochester\, with construction scheduled to begin in 2027. The project will include reconstructing Hwy 14 from Broadway Ave. to 9th St. SE\, altering turn lanes\, replacing the traffic signal\, improving lighting\, upgrading ADA facilities\, adjusting crosswalks\, and installing new sidewalks and trails.\n\n\n\nMnDOT is working with nearby businesses to prepare for construction.
