DESCRIPTION:This round table is one of several designed to create additional value for specific segments of our membership.  Prospective chamber members are also invited to attend initial meetings. \n\n \n\nThe Non-Profit Round Table will meet monthly\, to informally exchange ideas\, best practices and to provide feedback to the Chamber on how it might better serve you and your organization.\n\n\n\nFor this meeting\, we will be getting to know one another and hear about each other's organizations.  Each organization will have approximately 5 minutes to introduce yourself\, tell us a bit about your organization\, it's mission\, and target demographic.  Also\, please be prepared to share one thing that your organization does very well and something that has you stumped that you could use some support\, advice\, or assistance with.\n\n\n\nFinally\, as an exciting bonus for tomorrow's meeting...\n\nDonny Rowles from Hey! Original Storytelling\, and board member for NAMI of Olmsted County\, is bringing in a camera and lights and wants to hear from local non-profits about "why your organization rocks" in 20 seconds or less. That's about 3-4 sentences. The hope is this experience will give you a chance to practice media-style interviews\, learn about what it's like to work on a video\, and improve your presentation skills. The video will be shared later on social media and through the chamber to give each organization some additional exposure within the Chamber membership\, and you will be given a link in case you would like to use yur video for organizational promotions.\n\nThis is an optional benefit for non-profit members who attend this meeting.
