DESCRIPTION:Exhibitor Sign Up\n\n \n\n\n\nRegistration for this event is closed.\n\n\n\n\n\nSTEAM Summit Mission and Overview:\n\nThe STEAM Summit encourages more than 1\,700 middle and high school students to pursue science\, technology\, engineering\, art and math careers by connecting them to business and higher educational institutions which offer STEAM courses in a highly interactive\, hands-on format.\n\n\n\nThe future success of the Southeast Minnesota economy depends on a well-prepared pipeline of students with the education and skills needed to keep the region's business and industry competitive. This summit brings together business\, higher education\, local government and our community to motivate and prepare students for an increasingly competitive global marketplace.\n\n\n\nReal Impact:\n\nAs a direct result of STEAM Summit\, our student surveys found of those who attended: 85% of the students had a positive\, fun experience\, 78% learned something that they could not have learned in the classroom and 57% identified a career or field that they'd like to pursue in the future.\n\n\n\nSTEAM Summit Exhibitor Timeline\n\nMonday\, November 14\n\n6:00pm to 8:00pm\, Exhibitor Setup\n\nTuesday\, November 15\n\n7:00am to 8:45am - Set up\n\n9:00am - 2:30pm - STEAM Summit\n\n2:45pm - 3:30pm - clean up \n\n\n\n\n\nQuestions\n\nFor questions please contact Ally Sheehan at asheehan@rochestermnchamber.com.\n\n \n\nThe format and timing of this event is subject to change.
