The Women's Round Table provides a small\, safe environment for women to: practice and refine skills\, discuss challenges specific to women in positions of leadership\, learn together and empower each other to take risks. Join us for a fun\, engaging program driven by the needs of the group.\n\n\n\nSpeaker Bio: My name is Julia Vuong\, I came from Vietnam and a resident of Rochester for the last 30 years. I am a proud single mother of two sons\, Brian Nguyen and Johnathan Nguyen.\n\n\n\nI graduated with a Business Associates in the class of 1987 in Cantho\, Vietnam. I graduated as a Medical Lab Technician from Mayo Clinic Rochester School of Health Sciences in 1995 and from Winona State of University in 2004 with a Bachelor's in Computer Science.\n\n\n\nI am have worked at Mayo Clinic for twenty-six consecutive years. I had a steady income and was content with how much I earned. However\, I did not know how to make money work for me until three years ago\, when my brother introduced me to World Financial Group\, World System Builder\, and Transamerica. I joined to learn how money works in building and protecting finances through establish financial security and independence by became a financial professor. The mission of these companies is phenomenal. By the year 2020\, it will change the lives of 1 million families through financial education.\n\n\n\nToday\, I would like to share the basic principles of Building a Financial Foundation for saving your future.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n**Please note that all presentations and content delivered within or in the promotion of Round Table meetings are entirely Round Table Chair and member/attendee driven. Any messaging and content conveyed within and for these meetings is in no way representative of the Chamber's views\, ideals\, or positioning.**\n\n\n\nMembers of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce are welcome to attend. In addition\, prospective members are invited to attend twice before setting up a meeting to discuss whether Chamber membership is right for their organization.
