DESCRIPTION:Featured Speaker: Melanie Brennan\, Founder & CEO of EA Therapeutic Health\n\n\n\nMelanie Brennan\, PT\, DPT is Founder and CEO of EA Therapeutic Health\, a nonprofit outpatient rehabilitation and adaptive health & fitness center in Rochester\, MN.  Previously known as ExercisAbilities\, Dr. Brennan founded EA in 2011 to provide opportunities for people with neurologic injuries and medical disorders to access expert rehabilitation and adaptive wellness care in the community\, including intensive neurologic recovery and innovative adaptive technologies\, beyond the constraints of the US health insurance model.  Today\, this social enterprise has a 2.5 million dollar budget\, 25 employees\, more than 100 volunteers\, and provided more than 24\,000 visit encounters in the past year to children\, teens\, adults\, and seniors with varying levels of physical disability and chronic health conditions both in and beyond traditional health insurance.\n\n\n\nDr. Brennan is a graduate of the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth\, MN.  Her 25 years of experience includes 11 years as a spinal cord injury rehabilitation team member at Mayo Clinic Rochester and three years as a hospital-based therapist working in an acute stroke program in the Twin Cities Metro Area.  In her current role as a clinic administrator and nonprofit fundraising professional\, she strives to inspire her administrative team and clinical staff to create a long-term road map to recovery and wellness for each client based on their own person-centered health goals to support their life long journey toward reaching optimal health and independence.\n\n\n\n\n\nDevelop relationships within this supportive group of women leaders who meet the third Friday morning of each month. The Women's Roundtable provides a small\, safe environment for women to: practice and refine skills\, discuss challenges specific to women in positions of leadership\, learn together and empower each other to take risks.
