She has worked at multiple nonprofits and loves organizing volunteers. As a Program Coordinator at Lutheran Social Service\, she coordinates two AmeriCorps Seniors national service programs. AmeriCorps Senior volunteers are 55+ and want to make a difference in their communities. \n\n Senior Companions share their time and talents by providing a weekly visit to older adults helping them to stay active\, healthy\, and independent.\n Foster Grandparents provide one-on-one mentoring at a variety of settings including public and private schools\, Head Start locations\, shelters\, and day care centers. \n\nThere is a great need for both Senior Companions and Foster Grandparents in our area. \n\n\n\nDevelop relationships within this supportive group of women leaders who meet the third Friday morning of each month. The Women's Roundtable provides a small\, safe environment for women to: practice and refine skills\, discuss challenges specific to women in positions of leadership\, learn together and empower each other to take risks.
