Lunch with the Experts
The Chamber's new small business education series gives participants the opportunity to learn from industry experts featured in the Expert Advice column in the Chamber Advantage.
This month's Lunch with the Experts topic is presented by Brian Childs (pictured left) and Tom Alexander (pictured right) of Larkin Hoffman, on Real Estate Development in Rochester’s Downtown Core: Making Sense of Current Land Use Plans, and Looking Ahead to the Revised Comprehensive Plan.
As real estate developers who have worked in the area know well, Rochester’s downtown is home to myriad land use plans and policies, some of which can be difficult to reconcile with others. At the same time, the City’s comprehensive plan has not been revised in a generation. With the pace of downtown development rapidly increasing – and with the city’s comprehensive plan currently under revision – we will look at land-use challenges currently facing developers and will ask questions about how those might be addressed in the new comprehensive plan, and otherwise.
Attend this Lunch with the Experts event to hear more and to discuss the future of downtown development in Rochester.
