The MaxAbility Employment Taskforce invites you to join us for
networking and a discussion on mental health in the workplace. Courtney Lawson, Executive Director of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Southeast Minnesota will discuss:
- the difference between mental health and mental illness the legal mandates to accommodate people living with mental illness
- the impact on your bottom line of addressing vs. not addressing mental health concerns
- how a mentally healthy workforce affects morale and corporate culture
NAMI is an organization dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by mental illness through education, support and advocacy.
Lawson holds a Master of Public Health degree in Health Management and Policy from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in General Business Administration from Michigan State University.
