Greetings, my name is Erica Rice, Outreach Specialist for Workforce Development, Inc. (WDI) out of our Rochester, MN office. Being an Outreach Specialist allows me to network with business leaders and job seekers across our Olmsted County community. My background features education and experience in marketing, sales, corporate training, nonprofit administration, and human resource management. In my presentation, I will share information about WDI’s program scope, our free resources, and the free services we offer to employers. My presentation will demonstrate how I represent WDI’s mission to develop and advance the workforce of Southeast Minnesota by acting as:

• The champion for workers;
• The convening agent to bring workforce partners together to resolve workforce issues;
• The change agent to promote innovative and creative workforce system solutions; and
• The accountability agent to measure and manage the area’s workforce development system.
