Overview

Mu Medical (formerly Nanodropper) is a mission-driven medical device company focused on improving access to vision-saving medications. Our Rochester fulfillment center supports customers and eyecare professionals across the United States. This role combines warehouse operations, fulfillment, customer support, conference logistics.

Fulfillment and Logistics associate responsibilities include preparing, processing, packaging and shipping orders from the Rochester, MN fulfillment center. The Fulfillment and Logistics associate will be managing and processing incoming orders from individuals, wholesale, and contracts. They will also manage logistics for conferences and industry events. In this role, you will liaise with the sales and marketing team to improve the patient and eyecare professional customer experience, and ensure smooth conference preparation. The Fulfillment and Logistics associate will report to the Operations Manager (if applicable) and the Chief Operating Officer.

To ensure success as a Fulfillment and Logistics associate , paying attention to detail is key. A successful Fulfillment and Logistics associate will fulfill orders quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality expectations, and organize and prepare for conferences and industry events that the team will be attending This is a part-time position working 3 days a week (MWF or SuTTh) for in-person shifts and the remaining days remote. Additional shifts may be available.

Responsibilities

  • Process and fulfill orders at Nanodropper’s fulfillment center
  • Ensures the appropriate actions are taken to resolve any fulfillment errors
  • Inspects the product for any damages, flaws or irregularities
  • Transports the packages to USPS and UPS at the end of fulfillment days
  • Prepare and maintain fulfillment center for orders, locating, stocking, and checking inventory to ensure accuracy.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Coordinate logistics for conferences and industry events
  • Ship conference materials and product inventory
  • Register staff and manage event schedules
  • Coordinate travel logistics
  • Work with customer support team to resolve/coordinate patient order, shipping , delivery and return inquiries/requests

Requirements

  • Ability to read and understand workflow instructions and packing slips
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for multiple hours and lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Open to learn or have experience with online shipping platforms (i.e. Shopify)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Previous fulfillment experience is preferred
  • Has their own transportation
  • Able to transport orders to local shipping carriers
  • Has tablet, laptop, or desktop for remote work

Education

  • Minimum education high school diploma or equivalent
  • Medical device knowledge and experience preferred

Commitment

  • This position ranges from 10-25+ hours per week depending on need.
  • Opportunities for advancement into a full time position available.
  • Must have transportation to deliver packages to appropriate mailing locations
