Olivia Thiede, MS, RD, LD, earned her bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics with a minor in health education from South Dakota State University. She went on to complete her master’s degree in nutrition and exercise science, along with her dietetic internship, also at SDSU. Olivia is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Before becoming a corporate regional registered dietitian with Hy-Vee, Olivia worked as an assistant manager at the Hy-Vee store in Brookings, SD, for nearly five years while completing her undergraduate studies and first year of graduate school.

Olivia is a passionate dietitian who enjoys educating customers on making nutritious choices at the grocery store. Olivia is excited to help Rochester and its surrounding communities by sharing her passion for nutrition and teaching others how to use food in a positive way to enhance their overall health, helping make their lives easier, healthier and happier.
