Anna Sidona Hakusembe is the founder and owner of Royal African Braiding, a Rochester-based hair braiding and natural hair care business. Originally from Namibia, Anna brings a global perspective and strong entrepreneurial spirit to the local business community. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Strategic Marketing) and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Public Sector Management). She previously served as a Projects Administrator and Project Coordinator at the Namibia University of Science and Technology, managing donor-funded and EU-supported programs, and as a Marketing Officer at the Meat Board of Namibia, supporting industry development and export promotion. Anna applies her corporate and project management experience, focusing on professionalism, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
