CCR Student Career Fair

Join us for the Career & College Readiness Program Career Fair on Thursday, May 18th from 3:00 - 5:00pm at Century High School.

Career & College Readiness is an after-school program for students of Mayo, John Marshall, and Century High Schools, aimed at exposing students to the many opportunities and career pathways open to them post high school.

The CCR Career Fair will further this objective by allowing students to interact with a variety of local businesses and organizations to learn about their work, career pathways, and the passion and skills necessary to pursue a job in their field or industry. Come engage in meaningful discussion with local students and help our future workforce identify potential pathways to their talent fit.

**Please note exhibitor/volunteer spaces are limited to the first 15 registrants.

What is the format?
Volunteers will be stationed at designated tables and have a personal dialogue with groups of 2-3 students. Students will rotate through the various tables to have discussions with a wide variety of professionals.

What do I need to prepare or bring with me?
Bring information about your business/organization or service provided. Be sure to prepare a brief summary of your professional journey to share with the students, and be prepared to answer questions from students about your education, experience, skills, and passion.

Will there be access to power sources for presentations?
While there may be a few outlets available, if you have a tablet or laptop to use that can hold a charge, that would be best.
