Administrative Assistant

Home Instead is seeking a dynamic and motivated Admin Assistant to become part of our team and join our mission. The Home Instead Admin Assistant holds a pivotal position within our team of professionals, sitting at the center of it all and touching nearly every aspect of the business. The ideal candidate is well-spoken, proficient in written communication and technology, incredibly organized, and possesses the ability to think critically.

  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple work streams simultaneously
  • Strong computer/technology skills, including but not limited to web browsers, VoIP calling systems, electronic file storage, Microsoft Suite, and Google Workspace

Here are just a few of the duties you will perform as a Home Instead Admin Assistant:

  • Act as the primary contact for all incoming communication and ensure interactions are handled in a professional manner
  • Greet visitors entering the office and direct them to the proper destination in the building
  • Provide thorough and professional administrative support to the office staff
  • Maintain the integrity of information systems, databases, and office files
  • Assist the Operations Manager with daily business operations
  • Plan and execute tasks as directed by office staff
  • Use assertive professionalism to communicate with CAREGivers and clients about scheduling and service needs
  • Prepare written communication, supply orders, expense reports, meeting notes, etc.
  • Accurately and efficiently archive documents
  • Assist with scheduling for clients and CAREGivers

What we will require:

  • High School Diploma or Higher
  • Excellent application of grammar, punctuation, and communication
  • Must have computer experience and possess proficiency on technical office equipment and tools
  • Must be able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment

Job Type: Full-time
