Minimum Qualifications of Education and Experience

Full salary range $35.37 to $59.07 per hour.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or related field and three (3) years of experience in a similar position as listed in the work functions.

OR

A combination of education and experience equivalent to seven (7) years of experience in a similar position as listed in the work functions.

Regular and reliable attendance is a necessary component of job/position. Individuals required to use County vehicles and equipment must have a valid driver's license and be free of any major traffic violations for the last three (3) years.

Nature of Work

Under supervisionprovides advanced Information Systems (IS) integration, administration, optimization, and support for computer systems and applications across various platforms for business and technical engineering systems in a complex computing environment. Provides technical guidance to IT staff. Acts as technical lead in projects and technology initiatives through all phases of systems development including planningdesign, development, implementation, and operationAssists and trains users in extraction and usage of system data. Responsible for liaison activities between assigned departments, management, vendors, and ITS staff. Supports a diverse, respectful, and inclusive workplace.

Examples of Work

  • Provides advanced Information Systems (IS) solution integration, administration of Microsoft applications across the entire M365 platform for end user business solutions.
  • Provides technical and/or business application consulting in research, evaluation, maintenance of M365 products introduced into the environment and support.
  • Develops and implements training, documentation, coordination of user groups, change management functions, and implementations for all M365 products.
  • Manages the implementation and integration of M365 applications with core systems County wide.
  • Collaborates with ITS Workgroups on the proper procedural and system operational functions between assigned departments, ITS, system vendors, and state agencies relative to the automated systems; coordinates related activities between management and user personnel 
  • Collaborates with other teams in ITS and customers to inform, provide technical input and assistance.
  • Provides after-hours support for systems that are identified in an SLA.
  • Performs related duties as required.
