2025 Best Places to Work Program is LIVE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Workforce Development, Inc. and the Workforce Development Boards of Southeast Minnesota and Winona Seek to Recognize Southeast Minnesota’s Best Places to Work in 2025
Southeast Minnesota – Workforce Development, Inc. (WDI), in partnership with the Workforce Development Boards of Southeast Minnesota and Winona, are proud to announce the launch of the 2025 Best Places to Work survey. This annual program highlights outstanding employers in the region while equipping participants with valuable workforce insights.
“Many great employers in our area have used this survey as a tool to attract and retain valuable talent,” says Jinny Rietmann, Executive Director of Workforce Development, Inc. “We’re excited to again recognize and promote our region’s best employers while providing them with data to celebrate their strengths and identify opportunities for growth.”
Local organizations interested in being recognized as one of the Best Places to Work must complete a 40-question online survey where data collection and analysis will be conducted by Personnel Dynamics Consulting Group. After the survey process, participants receive a FREE, personalized, and confidential report, which includes survey results specific to their organization and best practices in areas such as benefits, training and development, paid time off, performance management, and more.

The survey deadline is February 7, 2025! All participants must register as a New User, even if they’ve participated in previous years. Winning organizations will be celebrated in small, mid-size, and large categories at the annual Workforce Development Forum on April 3, 2025, at the Rochester International Event Center. These organizations will also receive the 2025 Best Places to Work logo, which can be used in their marketing and recruitment efforts to further enhance their employer brand.
This marks the 15th year that WDI and the Workforce Development Boards of Winona and Southeast Minnesota have sponsored the Best Places to Work Survey. The program is part of a national initiative to recognize outstanding employers in local communities and will engage with businesses in Freeborn, Mower, Rice, Steele, Goodhue, Olmsted, Houston, Dodge, Fillmore, Wabasha, and Winona Counties.
