  MINNEAPOLIS – Mike McMahan is joining the Knutson Construction team as vice president of
healthcare. This newly created role leverages McMahan’s extensive knowledge of the operations of
major healthcare systems, providing Knutson’s customers with best-in-class expertise as their projects
take shape.

McMahan will lead Knutson’s healthcare practice, overseeing sector employees at all Knutson offices.
He will have a major role in growing Knutson’s already considerable business in the healthcare sector,
while also concentrating on deepening partnerships with new and existing clients.

McMahan brings more than 25 years of experience in healthcare, both in a general contractor, design,
and developer setting at Ryan Companies and from an internal perspective at Allina Health and the
former HealthEast Care System. During his career, he has served in leadership roles overseeing strategic
growth, managing facilities, clinical operation, performance improvement and developing
transformative relationships with employees, physicians, and collaborative partners.

McMahan received his bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology at Winona State University, and his MBA
from Metropolitan State University.
